T in the Park
Was fantastic! I had such a wicked time, and although I was covered in mud on my bottom half and burnt on the top, I would definitely do it again!
So, although it was so hard to choose as they always put the best bands on in the same slots, I was forced to be picky and I saw the following:
1. The Killers (Fantastic live set!)
2. Snow Patrol (Also very good - I was pleasantly surprised)
3. Scissor Sisters (Hilarious and really good fun)
4. Lost Prophets (Another great live set)
5. Maximo Park (My new favourite band)
6. Goo Goo Dolls (Been wanting to see them for ages!)
7. Arcade Fire (Pretty good set, good to see live)
8. Biffy Clyro (As always, very good)
9. James Morrison (Very swishy voice!)
10. Razorlight (Disappointing from them, expected better)
11. The Fratellis (Couldn't hear too well, but were pretty good)
12. Paulo Nutini (He was ratted, and it showed - but still managed a good gig)
13. James (Only played three songs I knew... quelle surprise!)
14. Mika (Only played two songs I knew)
15. Arctic Monkeys (A bit on the pants side, but I was expecting that so no disappointment)
16. Avril Lavigne (I know, I know, she was just on where I was sitting :-p)
I also heard a bit of Ross Copperman and I think it was San Sebastian.
So yeah, I now have the joyous task of washing my stinky clothes and trying to recover from a weekend of not really sleeping. Well worth it though :-D
