i agree with you one hundred percent, but we can't let our dreams stay dreams. we can't dwell on the fact that we won't have the lives we wish to have. if we think that way constantly, we really will never have that life. so a little bit of positive thinking can go a long way

Hey TJ, it's Jared.

I personally think that mindset is the reason why so many people do not accomplish their dreams. Most actors, musicians, or millionaires, etc, believed in their dreams so passionately that they achieved them. Almost all people who have achieved their dreams got them because they stuck with them, fought for them, and NEVER gave up. Most people give up too easily or lack self confidence, and thats why their dreams never happen.

I agree that sadness sticks with you because its something you can cling to. It's so easy to "know" that you are sad and accept that, rather than try to be happy. It's all about the effort and mindset ( ... )

Hurt and pain is what makes us who we are, so it feels much deeper than happiness. Pain probably benefits us more in our developing years than happiness ever will. Anyone can feel happiness, it's the experiences that bring pain that make us wiser and more appreciative. Without pain, there cannot be the countering happiness. Without pain we'd live in a constant state of monotony. I believe pain makes this world a better place.
