Man! I let it cool off, but on twitter, there was/is this huge argument about how all furry conventions should ban all puppy play masks

It's sad to see the precious little snowflakes that are taking over the fandom. I must admit that when I first joined the fandom I was a little put off by people in fetish gear. I was afraid of the overly-sexual perception the fandom was receiving. But after a little while it all seemed like just part of the deal. I didn't mind all of the leather and rubber especially if it was later in the day. But that's the difference between then and now. Now people who are offended must make a big deal about it because THEY are offended, therefore it should be banned! Well, headless fursuiters offend me. They should be banned! Anime offends me. It should be banned! Or I could just make my feelings about PC be known and not bother showing up at cons where they make such a big deal about being PC.

I'd rather go to a con where people can express themselves. I don't mind masks or even fetish gear. If it's a problem for the kids and normies, then maybe we don't need so many kids or the normies - or these easily-squicked reincarnations of the burned fur movement.
