So I got home today, and this middle-aged man comes up to me at my apartment complex parking lot and tells me that he's from Buffalo (3 hours away) and he was visiting some friends with his wife. They say that they don't use credit cards (Upstate New York, so this is believable), and did not bring enough money to buy gas or toll to get back to ( Read more... )

I'd just give them the benefit of the doubt and not think too much about it. When you do something nice for someone, it comes back to you many times over. Where in upstate NY do you live? I did my undergrad at Rochester haha.
