I haven't watched much of Doctor Who and none before the ninth regeneration that's for sure. I always did like Donna the best though, her interactions with the Doctor and her 'you're not mating with me, sunshine' attitude tickled me pink. I remember feeling really (sad/let down/bereft?) with how her arc ended with Ten and am hoping you have a plan for that haha. I can't say i follow everything you have written plot-wise, mainly because i think a bit of background knowledge is needed?, but I have liked what I've read. You have a real talent for depth of detail and to be honest, i really like how sassy this fic can be. Like the progression and will love to read anything you add to it xx

Yes, I have a plan to counteract that. While some bg knowledge helps, I've done my best to limit it so the differences are caused by the personality of Eight. Thank you for the kind comments. I plan to update this series early in 2020.

Any chance that we could get a status update on how you (and any of your works) are doing?

I mean I’m not sure that even the Doctor could have expected how hellish 2020 was for earth, so could you please let us casual readers/lurkers know that you’re okay at least?

Yes, I'm alive and well. No one in my immediate family died of COIVD, and I made it through with improved finances and a promotion. :)

Sadly, the works are suffering. The sequel requires a lot of knowledge about Gallifrey and some world-building. Without that, the story will fall flat, and I need to set up for the follow-up. (And I have an even bigger backlog of Big Finish audios to catch up on, including new Eighth Doctor ones. I wonder how Stranded will seem in light of the past 18 months.)

However, I did get yet another plot bunny. This one I might have to write, and perhaps it'll help me get my muse back into gear.
