(For whatever reason, I've always remembered that line as "it's a cold and it's a lonely Hallelujah". Good luck making it through the current crisis; I've buried a brother and both grandmothers, but I've no idea what it'd be like to have to say goodbye to a parent.)

Not much new to report. Our house has been visited by a plague of some sort; 9 days after first feeling it, I'm only somewhat back to normal. Sweetie is in the midst of it...

Last weekend (November 17th-19th), deliriumdreams and I drove out to Phoenix.

One of our main goals was to buy a bunch of stuff at Ikea in Tempe, Arizona, as that's the closest Ikea store to Albuquerque. We also wanted to visit with some of our friends out there.

Damn.

I thought I was pretty good at assembling Ikea bits, since I had a fair assortment of their stuff at my old apartment in San Diego. Little did I know that bookshelves and even tables are nothing, nothing, compared to cabinetry.
