Once again Central Clinton Community Schools, otherwise known as DeWitt Central, my children's school had chose not to cancel school in what is obviously going to be a long and dangerous weather day.

Over 100 schools & businesses have called to cancel in anticipation of this storm.

I do understand why they are relunctant to cancel though.  About 6-

Idn't that ridiculous?? What sense does it make to get them there to just have to worry about getting them home in the midst of all of the mess and muck?? They did that to us one year, too, and ever since have been reluctant to let the kids stay home. Nobody around here knows how to drive in the mess, though *rolls eyes*, which makes it all the more of a difficult situation!! I agree with you....keep them home!!
