Wow, thirteen weeks since my last Livejournal entry, heh. Yes, I'm still quite alive and well, just keep forgetting to post in Livejournal is all. Things here in my area of Baghdad have been as lively as they've been since day one, but that's not stopping me from being wary. Glad to hear that you're doing good and well, TK. You had me a tad worried lately with your lack of onlining (at least, while I'm there anyway. XD) and no LJ entries. :)

About the truck thing brother:
my advice (as an economist)-go small if you really want a truck... like 4 cylinder.... think of the gas mileage, cost savings... And I know some people think that gas prices are going to fall....they are wrong :) The level they are now (about 2.80 at the lowest) will not get any lower. We will never see the 2.00, 2.50 level on a consistent basis again. OR, you could go deisel... those are easily converted to run with ethenol (if that ever gets off the ground) and they last FOREVER. You could also do something like a jeep, or escape type thing. They have models that are as hardy as trucks, but, once again, don't have the gas problems bigger trucks have.

I was planning to get a diesel anyway, possibly one of the Hemi powered trucks that shut down four cylinders during highway driving like Sgt Blanchette's got. If Linsey and I continue along the route we're going now, I doubt I'll be driving home as much as I normally do. Partially due to gas prices, and partially because I doubt she'll want to deal with a 22-24 hour drive. lol.

That's probably because of the "angel wing" shoulders, throat guard, and the fact I'm wearing mirrored Oakleys. Just wish I did have a full-up set of Mjolnir Mark V armour.
