The Victorian Canine Association has for some reason rejected the spelling of my dog's name, and so the breeder had to use a different name

why would they reject the spelling?

MIKA is actually a kennel prefix and cannot be used in a name.

I would be happy with Kyahmarl New Moon or Kyahmarl Japanese Moon or something like that - rather than a stupid spelling difference.

means that whenever I have to enter her in a Canine Council sanctioned event I have to use the warped spelling :(
