Life has been a lot busier with 2 kids (one of whom is particularly difficult at this time). I don't come here very often due to lack of time, but on Facebook a bit more. If you want to connect, PM me. :-)

I, however, do have a HUGE favor for L.A. ladies. Can you please give a recommendation if one is to have ONE day in L.A. to play

Do you have a car to get around in? If not, then I'd stay on the West Side somewhere - like I think there's a Sofitel on Beverly Boulevard. You could walk from there to the Beverly Center, and you'd be very close to things like Rodeo, Melrose and Sunset Blvd - like close enough that you can cab it).

Otherwise, I'd stay in Santa Monica (someplace with a beautiful beach view) which isn't a bad drive to all the touristy things (but definitely a drive - it'd probably be expensive to try and take a taxi from Santa Monica to the touristy things). But that way, you can maybe get out during the day, go see all the touristy things, then come home for dinner in Santa Monica and take a walk on the beach after dinner.
