I am feeling the urge to tell more of the Internet about my running / maybe-possibly-triathloning exploits, so I am resurrecting my personal blog for the purpose. Just in case you are among the subset of "the interested". (It is syndicated here already, in case you prefer to read the posts through LJ.)

OMG, it's like everyone is talking about triathalons these days. I swear. I was drinking with some writers last night, and they were all,

Writer One: "There's a marathon in Big Sur this weekend."
Writer Two: "We should do a triathalon."
Writer Three: "I just did my first half-marathon. I don't know if I'm ready for that."
Two: "Well, that's what you said about the half-marathon after that 5K we did that one time."
One: So, we're going to do it then? I need another drink. I only sign up for these things when I'm drunk.

Yeah, that's about exactly how I felt about five years ago, and now look at me. It's kind of Stepfordish.
