I sort of love this. When I was younger, okay, sometimes now, I would daydream about being the most scientifically knowledgeable person in the era via time travel, and how I would TAKE OVER THE W--bring knowledge to the human race.

Likewise. I figure the best plan would be a palmtop with a copy of Wikipedia on the drive and a small solar charger. More durable and holds much more information than a folded piece of paper, and smells a lot better than wearing the same T-shirt all the time. By the time the battery or drive gave out, you could almost certainly have transcribed the pages most likely to be useful into a contemporary medium.
