My trip to the Pacific Northwest was great. The drive was beyond beautiful and peaceful. I already knew this, but it still managed to amaze me, once again. All the green scenery almost makes you forget how long you've been on the road. I do wish that I had more time in Seattle, but I was still able to make the most of it and it was wonderful seeing ( Read more... )

After I spent a summer in Seattle, I said that I would try to visit at least once a year. When I said that it was more wishful thinking than anything. I knew that money and time (assuming that I would have a full-time job...ha) would most likely prevent me from making the yearly trip. The highlight of my summer was definitely my visit to Seattle. It felt so odd being back in that city, but oh so great at the same time. I stayed at the house where I lived last summer and it made me feel extremely nostalgic. It was really nice to just walk around the U-District, the Ave, Greenlake and downtown. Last year I started writing for a magazine based out of Seattle called Redefine. I started off writing concert reviews for the Web site, but in the summer issue, I have an artist feature! The magazine is sold online and in selected bookstores in the United States and Canada. Look out for this cover-
