I come into contact with rather a lot of jerks in my daily life. Sometimes I like to compare which is the worst jerk of them all. Many times there isn't much thinking involved: one jerk completely carries the day. The impatient idiot who plowed into the father and daughter, I believe would be legally at fault since a moving object is always at fault when it hits a stationary object. Case in point, I was legally at fault when I unknowingly backed into a UPS truck behind me, even though it was illegally parked. However, your blog reminds me of King Solomon who told the two women fighting over custody of a baby that the only solution was to saw the baby in half. Duh--the father with the daughter in tow had to have something loose upstairs or just be a really, really, bad father. What father in his right mind would put his own child at risk of injury just to secure a parking place?
