Believe it or not, I actually listen to NPR weekly. I don’t enjoy Wait Wait enough to subsidize them, even with the promise of the tote bag or smug self-satisfaction of supporting public radio. The preceding was a really lazy lead-in to the Juan Williams firing issue, and how it pertains to what happened on the set of The View earlier this week.

Nice to have you back. I saw clips of the View show with O'Reilly--it was pretty laughable with everyone shouting over each other. But when the two prima donas walked off the show--well that took the cake. How can you walk off your own show? I wonder what would have happened if the other women had walked off as well and left old Bill on his own to smirk and pontificate. Oh well, such is the world we live in.

That wouldn't happen. I know there's at least one woman on the panel who holds up the "right" leg of the couch, as it were.

Between Fox, brilliant writing that's believed to continue and goodness knows what's next, Juan's far from amicable split from NPR will be a blip on the radar screen.
