That's what State Rep. Sally Kern, R.-Oklahoma City, says about homosexuals. The New York Times reports some people objected to her speech.

The woman is, as you said earlier, a pathetic bitch.
I think what she said is absurd. It's radically cuckoo. And she is more to be pitied than scorned.

The protest I want to mount, though, is not about her deliberate slur against gays. It's about her thoughtless slur against Moslems. "A bigger threat than Islam ..."

Imagine! A whole religion with a billion adherents and a deep tradition of love and devotion to family, tribe and community. A bigger threat than that!

Like all religions, it has its faults. I'm not a member. But I hardly feel threatened by it. Maybe that's because I'm an even bigger threat.
