I just got my leave approved.

We're heading to DC to join the masses and celebrate.

Show of hands please! Who else will be there?

YAY! I was warned by a certain Bear this may happen. *happy dance* I don't know that I'll actually go to it - the crowds give me the willies, but I can watch it on the telly!

I'm thinking about it. I don't have to worry about work then because the sememster won't have started yet. So basically I'm interested but need to know more about the details to decide (cost, when, where, etc)

My entire family is going - parents, sister's family with the little ones, even a close family friend. We have a place to stay and everything.
The problem is that they are driving, which means we'd have to miss four days of work (Monday-Thursday). Who puts an inauguration on TUESDAY?
Four days is nearly 1/3 of Tim's leave time for the year. And I'd be missing the whole week (because I leave for Denver on Friday morning). And I don't officially get any vacation time.

So Tim and I are vaguely considering the idea of flying out Monday afternoon, and coming back Tuesday night.

I went to both of Clinton's, and I'd really hate to miss this. But with our jobs, Tim and I just may not be about to pull it off. I'll keep you posted though!!!

Not sure yet. I'd like to, but that's right around Rush at the bookstore, so Joe might not be able to get off work. So we'll see.
