Being grateful

For my friends, certainly; for the fact Al and I still have each other, absolutely; but you know what I'm thankful for most of all? For having my sense of self again, being able to think and feel as myself, without the machine shredding everything I am in pieces and making me do its bidding ( Read more... )

And I'm certainly glad that you have achieved your independence. I would never have met you otherwise and I think my life would be poorer for not knowing you.

Thank you, Roger. You know, you and Dorothy showed me that interaction between organic and artificial sentient beings can be so different, and so much more - and I'm really grateful for that as well.

Then I am very thankful to you both as well. I myself won't be able to come, but I'm curious about your part of the universe. Are there any other telepaths around? What kind of societies exist?
