Varzil, why would you think you were churlish? I was glad to share the poem with you after learning your ballad.
A bad time - well, yes and no. Michael - Mr. Garibaldi - has resigned from office after people found out about his telepathic status - but from what I hear, the Captain has persuaded him to accept another office instead. He still hasn't agreed to be trained, though.
On the other hand, my friend Anna is coming to visit the station, which I'm very looking forward to.
And then there are just the times when I feel frustrated about not being able to reach Al the person I want to talk to most, and all the times when I want to do more than I can right now. Reading about your world and your life makes me long to be there, at times, hence my reply to this week's question, and that in turn increases the feeling of being trapped.
So any feelings of churlishness you picked up were probably mine, not yours, my friend.
