OMG. I just found out that I received a FLAS Fellowship at NYU for my master's degree in European Politics and Policy. FLAS is a Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowship that will pay for my ENTIRE master's degree as well as give me a stipend of at least $15,000. Yup. That's right. I am so fucking ready to graduate and be done, it's not even funny. This semester, and the end of it right now, has been the most brutal. After reading the 90 page decision issued by the NJ Supreme Court, I have to admit three things: One, I am so glad that Marco and I decided to move to NJ. Two, the fact that seven supreme court justices, crossing all party lines (democrat, republican and independent) were able to agree unanimously that same-sex couples are entitled to all the legal ( Read more... )
