Consider the possibility that you can have those things now... today. Nothing has to stop you from being any way you want to be... or having anything you want to have... not in some indefinite future, but immediately.
For what its worth, I am very proud of you right now, and I dont need to wait until you graduate for that. I've been proud of you for years, and nothing will change that.

Thank you very much for that. Sometimes, it just takes someone to say it, to feel proud for yourself. I'm really glad that you have things figured out in your life, and I think, pretty soon, I will try my best to figure things out in mine. Thanks for everything.

Just a distinction to draw...
1) "pretty soon, i will try my best to figure things out in mine"
2) "I will figure things out in mine, and within the next X time"
One is a good start, with good intentions... but is living into an indefinite, unspecified future. There is nothing saying that it WILL happen, and no committment to make it happen.
The second is bold, unreasonable, and clearly stating that it WILL be done, and by when. Consider the possibility that this is exactly how things are done.
Ghandi simply said "I'm going to free India in my lifetime" and didn't have any clue how to do it. By stating it, he committed to it, and lived it every day of his life. It was unreasonable, and he made it happen.
Just something to think about. :) I care about you, and want nothing but the best for you, so I've got a vested interest in you figuring anything out that you need to.
