TMBG at the variety playhouse doing the lincoln show in atlanta last night was FUCKING AWESOME. ive been seeing them at this venue since about 98 and ive never witnessed such a completely satisfying set list. they did not, in fact, play "Lincoln in its entirety" as promised in the concert advertisements. I didn't hear that, but I'm sure it was hilarious.

ahahahhahahha. John's voice just keeps getting deeper. Pretty soon, you won't actually be able to hear anything he says, just see his mouth moving and things vibrating nearby.

Thanks for sharing. It killed me that I couldn't go to this. Ah, well.

PS - They keep saying they are going to revive the downloadable shows, but I haven't seen any evidence, that was a great thing to have. They also say They will be reviving the podcasts after the tour is over, so maybe...
