I agree with pennywhistle, it does feel quite a bit like The Spine. Heavy on the power-pop -- not that I mind, of course. :)

according to the liner notes the song is copywritten by TMBG and Harrison Parisnight Music which i think is the ASCAP co. of Stan Harrison who is listed as playing saxes and clarinets on that particular track.
i like it well enough. i just remember Join Us happening to 'click' a lot quicker for me. i don't hear the Spine comparisons but i guess if you HAD TO pick a past album to compare it to you would HAVE TO pick that one. (though you don't HAVE TO do anything you don't want to.)
