I've been debating about making this post for the past few weeks.  So that I don't have to repeat a bunch of stuff, please read this rather short posts here and here before continuing.

What I've been debating about for the past couple of weeks is whether or not to write a post for "Autistics Speaking Day".

OK, you seem interesting. I don't post very often either, but feel free to follow me if you want.

Also, I co-moderate asperger-- we totally welcome self-diagnosed autistics as well as officially diagnosed ones, so come on in if you'd like!

As a 58 year old aspie I think i get it. Except for the someone to talk to, that didn't happen until my 30s. I'm not sure how i survived but we Aspies have a way of just keeping going.

The someone to talk to was definitely an answer to prayer in my case. I wouldn't have lasted another year. Glad you made it through, and sorry you had to wait so long :/
