Alcohol aftermath

First, I want to apologize for any grotesque assassination of the English language I might commit in this post... It's 10pm, I'm tired as hell and I had a couple of drinks that were stronger than I'm used to (I haven't drank in a long while), so it is possible that Portuguese is more present in my mind than English.

Second, I'm siting in my living ( Read more... )

There's very little wrong with your English. Even under the affluence of incohol, you write it better than the average person in the UK does!

I used to play soccer....but find I can't really get into it on TV. I do love baseball! I don't like football or basketball on TV. I do like going to just about any sport in person, because it's an event, then where you participate and cheer and eat and gab. Golf is also fun to play but dreadful on TV.
I saw no issues with your English. Must've been an English liquor. Haha :P :)

I used to go watch soccer live a lot in Rio and you're right, it's just amazing, the whole process and the vibe is great!
I could never play soccer, no talent at all for it, but I'm brazilian, what can I say? The World Cup runs through my veins, so I grew up watching it on tv as well.

Your English is always excellent :) I love soccer, have never seen American football and have no understanding of basketball or baseball!

Haha I can totally relate. I looooove soccer, but don't ask me about what the players are doing or anything. Just give me an amazing game and I'm happy. I usually get heavily invested around World Cup time, because who has the time to keep up with league matches!?

I had an American ex, he got me really into Football. And naturally without knowing anything about anything I picked me team...and everyone hates them haha - gooo Patriots!!

I never got into basketball, and all the others like golf, baseball etc (in my opinion) are sooo boring.

lol, I did the same thing! I picked my team without knowing anything about it!!!! Go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About World Cup, are you watching the Women's World Cup?! Or are you like me and only focus on the main World Cup? Today, I had to be told by my husband that Brazil won today's game against Jamaica, cause I had no idea!

Hahahah we are not watching the women, sorry women, but I've only got it in me for every 2 years. I watch the main mens world cup and I watch the Euro championships (I'm German so gooooo Germany haha!), but even then Mens World Cup is the priority.
But yes I've heard things here and there, but here in Australia they only focus on the Aussie teams and you don't really hear anything about everyone else.

I don't understand sports... any of them, really. It's funny when people get so passionate about football and stuff! Ah well.... I guess everyone is different :)
