It really sucks. I've had this LJ for a few years now, but I never realized you had one and updated it regularly.

I know we kind of drifted apart since you moved south. Yeah, we talked to eachother now and then when you were in town visiting T, but that was about it.

On the other hand, I still remember the good times we had before you left town. And I'll even admit that you said some things that cheered me up when my mind went to a dark place.

For that...and all the other times, just want to say thanks.

Rest in Peace, bud, you will be missed.

I still can't believe you're really gone...it seems like just yesterday that I saw you last. From helping me move to Lynnwood that same day, to me driving you home afterwards, and then saying good bye to you when we left Trista's housewarming party that night. I am TRULY honored that I was able to play such a role in your last days, inviting you to that last party so a number of us could see you one last time before you left this Earth. I had no idea what that one invitation would mean in the days to come...and then your Stepdad calling me with the news of your death...I'm still sad whenever I think about it, though I know you wouldn't want me to be. You'd try to make me laugh as you always did. I miss you Carter and I know speak for many of our friends when I say that it just won't be the same without you around. Thank you for being my friend and for always being there, for all of us!!
