My Sweet Heart

Name: Emma
Nickname(s): Not really, because my name is short enough as is. Many people I know have the ability to slur it into one syllable. We Southerners are good at making either multisyllabic words monosyllabic or vice versa.
Age: 17.6

Likes: Writing, reading, technology, traveling, photography, makeup, driving, comedy, certain TV shows, journalism, older men (I'm talking men in their 30s and 40s, but only celebrities in that age group like Jon Stewart, Anderson Cooper, and Conan O'Brien)
Dislikes: Immaturity, apathy, most Republicans, Christian fundamentalists, the price of gas, traffic, high school boys
Hobbies: Writing long stories, taking pictures (perhaps while traveling), driving around, singing along loudly to songs when nobody's around, shopping, watching The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and Conan O'Brien
Talents: Writing long stories, creativity, caring for other people, leadership
Pet peeves: Girls who can't shut up about their boyfriends, writer's block, obviously Mary Sue stories, badly-written and badly-formatted stories

Strong points: I'm creative, passionate, and I can give a shoulder to cry on
Weak points: I have a slightly thin skin that I'm working on thickening, I get anxious about things sometimes, and I probably give too much care to people who don't care for me anymore

Favorite food: Noodles, they're just so versatile
Favorite color: Blue

Mature or immature: Mature. I'm already thinking about what to do after high school and even after college, whereas many people I know are still like "Oh I need a boyfriend this year!" and other high-school-centric sentiments. Plus, I'm firmly above many of the immature people activities, like getting totally drunk/high/whatever at parties, et cetera.

Who is your favorite character? Why? I think Mint's whole outfit is really cute, plus her color theme is blue, which is my favorite color. I also like Zakuro, though, because she's more mature than the other girls, which is how I feel a lot of times.

Anything else? Well, here are some pictures!

I'm getting my hair cut on August 12, so if you want to imagine that, imagine my ears not being covered by hair and my ends stopping just below the ear, not below the chin. It won't be too terribly different--same color, just shorter.
