I'm terrified of death too. It's the only thing that I can't talk about with anyone without starting to shake and freak out.

I think everyone is afraid of death in some way. Some are afraid what what happens afterward, some are afraid of the mark it'll leave on the living. For myself...I guess the thought of not existing anymore is what scares me about it.

*hugs*

well, how's this for an idea? you will always exist, even as a small shade of yourself because you always exist in teh hearts of those you touch.

I don't know...I feared death when I was younger...but I don't anymore. But we don't need to get into that, because you know where I stand on that Tim.

I'm always here for you...even if you just want to write me an e-mail or talk on MSN without any responses. Honestly, sometimes just writing something out helps, even if no one reads it. You've probably heard all this before...so I'll spare you more ;) From personal experience, when your life settles down, those worries don't plague you as much. I swear...people talk about mid-life crises a lot, but I think, depending on the person, the hardest ages are between sixteen and twenty five.

well, i figure, i'm 20 years old. i'm halfway to my own midlife crisis, so if i simply get teh buulk of it out of teh way now i'll have nothing left to worry about in 20 years.

Death is a part of life but that doesn't mean you shouldn't fear it. That fear is just a much a part of it as death is. That fear is where our struggle to live comes from, and that struggle to defy death and have nothing left to fear is life.
