How to Set Up a NicoNico Premium Account
Ok, so, in the interest of promoting Ienomi, I've created this guide to signing-up for a NicoNico Premium account.
I've actually wanted to do this for a while, but it required me to cancel my previous account, so that I could sign up for a new one (to document the process), so I was being lazy. ^_^;
Most of this (which consists largely of Massively Big Pics, fyi) can also be seen via my new Moby picture account, but I added some more detailed instructions and such here. I've also posted this to my Turbo_Updates Twitter account. So if anyone wants to pass this info around, feel free to just Re-Tweet it. * You MUST have an account to watch Ienomi at all.
* There are two types of NicoNico accounts you can sign up for. → Regular Accounts are free.
→ Premium accounts cost less than $7 a month.
* If a show gets too many viewers, regular members get kicked out. Premium members are guaranteed to always be able to watch it.
→ With Ienomi, this typically happens about 5 minutes into the show. Therefore:
*You want to get a Premium Account!*
Start by going to http://www.nicovideo.jp/

If you already have a regular account, but need to upgrade it, log in and click here:
-->> Payment Screen.

If you don't yet have an account:
If you really don't want a Premium Account, click the second button. Both will take you to the same sign-up pages.

Signing up is fairly self-explanatory. Email → Info → CAPTCHA → Confirm your email.
Note: One account per email address.
ETA: I just went back and checked and, for Free accounts at least, it now has you confirm your email BEFORE you enter your profile info.
All info is required. Stared ★ info cannot be changed.

If you only signing up for a regular account you'll see this, which means you're done.

Otherwise, you need to enter payment info. You will need to use PayPal to pay.

If everything goes right, you should see this, which means you're done!
Once you do have an account, if you need to sign-in you will use the link on top and type your email address, not you username.
