“What are you going to tell your dad?” Logan asked.  He’d been stalling for the last hour, hoping she’d mention it again, but since she’d gotten him to agree to stay with her, she had dropped the subject.

Veronica, who was half-asleep on his chest, started.  “About you?”

“Are you holding someone else hostage?”

When I saw this was updated, I had to reread all the prior chapters. Fabulous work. Love that LV finally got together. I really like how you highlight what a good friend Logan is to Veronica. He does the things he does because of their friendship-not because he thinks he's going to get anything from it. Hope to read more soon!
