What makes you think a "good daughter ought to" hide things of such importance to her from her mother? What is it that "blows your mind"?

People are always surprised at how open the communication is that I have with my children. The stories I could tell...*grin*

I do know some folks in Portland and Vancouver. We probably have some mutual acquaintances.
