Is it cold in here or just Snowy?

Snow definitely had the most interesting and surprising monsters in any book that we’ve read this semester. We’ve read about werewolves, vampires, and zombies and I thought that was really all that monsters entailed. I was very wrong. Everyday innocuous things can become monsters too. A strong breeze or a little heat. It kind of bothered me that they could potentially be beaten by something so simple.

I also thought that it was interesting that the two characters didn't get together at the end. That's exactly what I was expecting and it was nice to see a different ending.

I had the same train of thought as you did with Shawna. After getting swarmed in the basement by the monsters, I totally expected to see her again in the book as "one of them". It would have been fun. Heck, they could have had her in the epilogue - I probably would have liked the epilogue better if that were the case.
