Somehow, i JUST realized there was TN lolita community! Anyway, i really want to go to a meet up, are their any in the works?

Also, does anyone else get bashed for wearing lolita in public here?

I have never been bashed :) Obviously you get the odd looks and got whistled at once whilst walking downtown, but that was all.

Do you where super full blown lolita, or causal? I'm a pretty sweet lolita, i try to get more classic and country stuff for every day wear. I'm just nervous is all, i know that's silly.

I've been all over Franklin and Nashville in Lolita and I've never had anything mean said to me :)
Once, a group of fratboy-looking guys walked by and as soon as I passed them I heard "OH. MY. GOD." But that's pretty much it. I can't say what reactions you'd get if you were wearing super OTT Sweet since I've never done that, but usually I only get compliments :)
I live in Franklin too, and I've never met another Lolita. I've been looking forward to meetups in the area, but I don't think the online community itself is very active .-.

well i have a meet up . com subscription and i've been contemplating whether or not to make a group, i have two more groups i can make, and if people will join it, i would be more than happy to make one (it costs money is all). Let's schedule a meet up! I'm excited to meet others now!

Well, I'm going to be in Germantown, TN and Clarksville, TN over the next three weekends (both are about 1hr from Franklin. On the newbie thread that I just posted I'm trying to organize a mini-meet up. You should check it out.
