The Quest to EMO LAND! or Taya and I went to "The Battle of the Bands"

My friend Taya and I went to the Battle of the Bands final. Usually this exciting event is held at Yoyo's in forestville, but this time was in Cromer Youth Centre due to crowds. This place is absolutely CROWDED with Emo's.. Therfore Red and black are practically the only colours. Luckily however Taya and I had a brainwave. We didn't want to be bled on my angry emo's, so we didn't try to copy their style... Instead we went for our own!
Originally the idea was to go as preppy as possible, Pink supre shirts, pink everything and a pink logo on our chest saying "I LOVE SUPRE"... As we were browsing through upper-class department stores.. such as Go-lo, we came across the perfect outfit! And so it was, after attempting to put on fake-nails, blush and struggling for nearly an hour on what shoes to wear we left Taya's apartment and entered an unsuspecting DY.

Thus insued a "Night to remember" SLUMBER PARTY!!!!!!!
In the above pictures you can see us terrorising DY. On our trek to the bus-stop we got about 5 Beeps, stopped 3 cars and nearly caused 2 accidents... well that's a slight exxageration about the accidents... But you know what I mean. We went to cross a road wating for the cars to pass and they stopped for us :P We caught a bus up to naraween then realised we were on the bus, we were going to walk and hope we made it eventually to the Youth Centre when god took pity on us and gave us wheels... That or a bus came and we caught it... Not too sure about that bit.
The bus-drivers were all nice and helped us get there :) The occupants of the bus however were so rude! The kept staring!
Eventually we made it to the Youth Centre and while we waited decided to take some Photo's to rememberour exciting journey by.
We can be cool in pyjama's... Can't we?...
After conquering earth Mr Pyjama Man sets of on bold NEW adventures... Conquering the universe, one nude sleeper at time.

We sat here for about 3/4 of an hour before they opened the doors and we could buy tickets which were... as the sign says... 10 dollars... Ps. Once the night was over.. that sign was no longer there... Hehehe, People don't come into my room anymore *ch ching*

Ok so we got in and it was great :P We had emo's approaching us and EVERYONE kept asking why we were in Pj's... I wonder why O_o. Taya's answer was... "We were trying to fit in..." After various Emo's came up to us congratulating us for our individuality (to which we responded by saying yeah your an individual too... just like everyone else here..lol, they didn't understand we were saying the were conformists) we went in to see Stand Clear perform... Not before checking out the Christian youth group above.. Yes that's right.. There was a christian youth group going on JUST above Yoyo's... THe strangest thing in the world. *Lady in shrill directing voice* Satanists DOWNSTAIRS, Christians, up there! Now you two! Pentagrams and Crosses are NOT weapons!

Ah, the first Ska Circle.. This is a really weird dance, people get in a circe and hop from one foot to the other while spinning around or doing any old thing... Very strange...

There we go aaagain... It was around this time that some random girl pinched me in the bum... I felt so soiled... Lol, yesterday I was telling a friend about my Pjyama exploits and he started laughing like anything, I asked him why and he told me that his friend has just told him about Her friday night... she had pinched some guy wearing pyjama's on the bum... I feel so dirty ;)

On the left you can see the major Goth crowd.. Lol, they never went in.. the whole night they just stayed there... Just after this I was talking to some girl and she asked me whatt I thought of Running with Scissors. I said I hated them and they were too emo for me... The person on my left and right turned around... The lead singer and the guitarist... Woops... "Ah.. I hate people that hate Running with Scissors", the guy was like.. pah fine... Then I offtered him a hug which he accepted... I then slowly slided my hand down his back :P He jumped backwards.. then, obviously after seeing my beaitful pigtails, he came back asking for me. I clasped his hands in mind and said, with tears streaming down my face, that I had come to the realisation, we would never be together... He pretended to cry to... This is wehre I made my second mistake... I made the emo cutting gesture... and he saw... Luckily however he took it as the joke it was inteded... Woops!

Stand Clear - They were pretty good + I knew them... but nothing amazing
Running with Scissors - LOL! SO EMO!! :P:P Even the name... During this one the Emo's got a bit rowdy and a friend of mine Mikey, who's big and bulky (and wore a shirt saying anti-emo army) was pushing them around whenever they tried to get into the ska circle... Then he pushed one too far and he landed on a girl so the girl's bf got angry and tried to bash up mikey... Soon Running with Scissors was all but forgotten...
Patchwork Heart - OK some people say thier good... THEY WERE CRAP! An all girl band.. and they hurt my ears! *weeps*

Awkward silence - A girl dressed as an emo was the singer... BUT SHE SPOKE LIKE A DITZ "So I was like writing a song, and now like I've performed it... like... 50 times! Oh my GOD!"... That's a quote...
