Update on my dating life plus defending Matt Smith...again

I have a date tonight -- holy shit! Mike who I met on EHarmony this month asked me to dinner, and of course I said 'yes'; plus, he's cute and funny -- win/win all around. Even if there's no 'spark', I think we'll be good friends. I'll update this weekend on how it goes. Wish me luck! *crosses fingers

I haven't heard of any rudeness! I know several people off Gallifrey Base who attended filming and one who was there tonight and I haven't heard a thing! I know tonight Matt, Karen, and Arthur were allowed 15 minutes to go sign autographs because there was such a ginormous crowd. What are people saying?

What I HAVE seen of him, both him and Karen at least were smiling and waving at fans and, according to one video I saw, GOOD ON THEM. I mean, I'm all for kids being excited and they weren't actually filming or rehearsing at the moment in question, but could these parents not let their kids scream constantly like banshees? Even the person taking the video could be heard to mumble "Good lord!"

I'm going to automatically assume that Matt was in a hurry and couldn't stay long enough for whatever the person who started this rumor wanted, and now they're butthurt about it. (I haven't seen anything on Twitter personally, so idek.) It happens... someone on Tumblr got butthurt over Matt, Karen, and Arthur not sticking around for autographs after the Cardiff Christmas lights thing. I was like, that sort of thing is a privilege for the fans, not a right, so put a lid on it.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion for me. I think your theory sounds very plausible. Whoever it was is Re-Tweeting it to AlanCarr who will have Matt on his show on the 14th. The butthurt person wants Matt to respond to their "allegations", I guess. What a stupid, pointless thing to do to a nice, charming man.

BTW, I love all your Amy cosplay pictures! I've never done cosplay before, but after seeing those pink tights paired with brown boots, I might just have to get the outfit now. lol

It was apparently a butthurt individual who didn't get Matt's autograph. They're just being bitchy.

I saw the video of the kids screaming like banshees -- talk about going a bit overboard!
