 I heard something on the radio today that made me stop and think.  This guy said he was from England where there is largely no middle class…just the rich and the poor.  He came here to be able to be a part of the middle class here. He said that years ago the corporations created a middle class by paying workers (largely union I guess) a good wage

Very interesting. I have felt for a long time that the U.S. is headed toward a two-class system. The rich just keep on getting richer (I have heard this repeatedly, how the number of millionaires keeps rising) and the poor keep getting screwed. And I do think the middle class is disappearing.
