Even my day planner is looking rough. Poor planner - it's as confused as I am. This past weekend was an explosion of activity the like of which I haven't seen in a long time. This weekend doesn't promise to be any easier. This week doesn't in fact. Ah well.
* Choir practice, 7:30 pm, 1/25
* Children's choir meeting, 6 pm, 1/26 CANCELLED
* Return jeans that do not fit correctly
* Call cable company about internet problems Still not fixed, must call again.
* Ryann's talent show, 6 pm, 1/27
* Big Important Stuff - call and *pokes* more
* Ryann's voice lesson (Part of Your World)
* Movie Night on Saturday night
* Get copies of pictures made
* Groceries that should have been done three nights ago
* Houston preparations - hotel and tickets - airline research
* Hide back-story from self and work on book stuff
* Practice horn
* Finish transposing music (340 doesn't exist!!)
Hmm. I know there is more, but this is all I can remember off the top of my head - save for Big Important Stuff that I shall not list here. :)
As you can see from the list I am having horrid internet problems at home - in fact last night not only the internet, but the cable was turned off. A call to the cable company found out that they had shut our cable off by mistake, they had meant to get our neighbor or some other person. *smacks!* Stupid people, they were able to put the cable back on, but I've got to make a call to another place to get the internet service switched back on.
This past weekend saw me running around helping Kim hunt for a dress for Ryann to wear. The girl has reached 5' now and she has outgrown her clothes and shoes. During this trial of dress-hunting Kim asked me if I would please help Ryann with her song. After a long talk with Ryann (and Kim) I agreed to give some help. Especially when Ryann sang for me and it sucked. I think Kim paying this other chick to give Ryann voice lessons is a waste of money, but that's just me.
Ryann has a school talent show this Friday. She is doing a baton/ribbon routine Kim taught her. (Kim teaches baton at the dance studio.) If Ryann does her routine like she has been doing it (and not like her mother taught her) she's going to look like she belongs on a stage dancing around a pole. Things could get interesting.
