Three days left of being 22....and I'm not even excited about turning 23! Whats the deal? I usually count down for like a month till my birthday...what the hell. Am I just getting old? Happy early birthday! Yeah, you're just getting old. There aren't anymore "landmark birthdays." When I was a little kid, I was counting down until I was 5 so I could start school like a big kid. After that, it was a countdown to 10, when I would be a decade old. Then it was 13, when I'd be a teenager. Then 15, when I got my learner's permit, and then 16 for my license. After that, 18 and all the freedoms it brings, and then 21 for those last few freedoms.

What's left after that? Cheap car insurance? Is it really even worth counting down anymore? I guess we could countdown to 65 and retirement. :-P
