well ive been back since the 14th. and its been great...lots of changes. i saw i love the 90's---and i just have to say that they forgot a lot of way important things that make the 90's my faveorite decade. heres some of them

dude, did they mention the Basket Case video? I always associate that with Black Hole Sun b/c i first saw them in the same sitting.

I've only seen two episodes, 91 and 95. they did an ok job, mentioning hootie and the blowfish. but i dunno, there seemed to be a lack of nickelodeon shows mentioned.

yes yes! i know---it put a bad taste in my mouth. basket case is a very important video of the era...another one of my favorites. i mean these videos of the 90's had substance as opposed to the popular videos now which dont seem to take the risks they used to take 10 years ago. the biggest risks u see in videos today are "hey---isnt it edgy that im not wearing a lot of clothes?" before you got to see stories in music videos, lots of colors and shit that related to the song where as now its all about making the artist look "hot". these are just my opinions tho, but people out there---let me know when u see a new video as quality as any of these: "black hole sun", "tha crossroads", "basket case", "tonight, tonight," and "heart shaped box."

i agree 100% with everything you said...seriously, the Tonight, Tonight video...classic! NOTHING today could ever come CLOSE to beating that.

I missed 97-99, but in the ones I did watch, they didn't mention the mid-90s "female rock" trend (Tori, PJ Harvey, Bjork, Courtney Love)...BOOO! What is up with that? Seriously, how could you NOT at least mention it?

And did they mention Heaven's Gate in the 1997 episode? If so, that would make my day. xD

they totally talked about heavens gate---but where the F were all the chick rockstars at? no courntey and her babydoll dress/fishnet combos? everything we've worked for is ruined!! hey--remember "grunge day" at ross school? and only we dressed up? *sigh, everyone was so lame....(best spirit day ever--thanks to us of course...)
