Playing into the stereotype.

I have come to understand, in my studies of contemporary pop culture (read: watching television) that college is a time of discovery. WRATH OF KHAN

WHAT

But yeah, hooray for figuring things out. You will change your mind about probably 75% of this by the end of the month, I will guess, because college likes to keep you on your toes but feeing out your surroundings is fun.

Break a leg at the audition, I'll be there about an hour after you.

quick note since I am working

Diffusion is where molecules are conveyed from regions of higher concentration to regions of lower concentration via random motion. Osmosis is liquid diffusing through a semi-permeable barrier (also higher to lower, but not the core term).

You'll keep discovering yourself until you're thirty. It isn't so much to do with college itself (although it helps the process), but more to do with the sudden loss of what was once a highly structured and (perhaps) monitored lifestyle. This is the acid test, essentially, but what you think you know of yourself will be tested again and again: to be broken down, reinforced, or revised. Some people never recover from the shock of having lost that regimen to their lives. CAVEAT.

Hilary, I like the sound of all of this, as long as I get to read your short stories eventually. And, no, I don't think you are silly in the brain. Transitions take time. I can't wait to hear about the auditions! And good luck with the room-switch meeting.
