i'm not really sure what i'm seeing, but i do want to give you some pointers.

for sketching, remember to draw tons of lines to get the general shape, and refine slowly. your eye will decide the best line, and you can trace over it in a new layer.

faces should be drawn using the proportional dooder you can find here.

and as far as photoshop goes...

ctrl shift n - new layers. plop em down generously.

numpad numbers ... type in 66, and get 66% opacity on your brush. amazing technique for shading and revisions.

you already know about the left and right brackets? they're tight.

alt pulls out a quick sampler, x switches flips your swatchs and d goes to the default black and white.

i'm sure you know about some of those, but they make tablets so much slicker.

i like to blabble on about shit i enjoy, if you can't tell.

Thanks for the knowledge. this is just a concept im thinking of for a photgraph actually I just got this image in my head and had to jot it down.
