and what's one thing that would make hornblower squirm even more than in the original? someone who may be able to read this thoughts. infinite pain. she is mostly human, but just the possibility of her being to hear him would drive hornblower nuckingfutz.
thank quigonejinn for making my original prose sound more eloquent, i had no the skill to write eloquently this weekend and she fixed my choppy hornblower thought patterns.

i think that'll be in #4, we're writing in very small bits, keeps them coming faster and writing in small chunks is easier for the both of us.
i have massive love for chick!bush because her can whoop-ass will be awesome. and she is still the ultimate sailor, just with different bits and pieces :-)

i grew up watching TNG, and knowing a little about trek goes a long way on the internets these days, you can tailor searches and get the obscure stuff easily.
