SO AS EVERYONE HERE WHO'S READ/SEEN LOTR PROBABLY KNOWS, THE RING NEEDS A PERMISSIONS POST LIKE BURNING. HERE IT IS, FOR YOUR PERMISSION DECIDING PLEASURE.

So. People. Here's the deal:

The Ring is crazy manipulative. Like crazy manipulative. Also highly addictive. Also it corrupts mostly everyone who even looks at it like ever. it is magical ( Read more... )

Character Name:Maxwell Lord
Would the Ring have power over them? Yes
(if the answer is 'no,' feel free to skip the next three questions)
Is it allowed to manipulate/corrupt them? Yes
If so, what do you feel is a plausible timeframe for its effects to be noticeable? A good couple of weeks, he's already a very tempted guy.
Is it allowed to read their minds/use telepathy and to what extent? Edit: actually, nevermind! He sure can!
Curse them?Depends on what it is, ping me!
Would the Ring&any related parties be invisible to them? Yup!
Anything else I should know: Max has a history of being taken over by evil entities. This is nothing new :D

Character Name: Illidan Stormrage
Would the Ring have power over them? it can probably out-do his skull so yes
Is it allowed to manipulate/corrupt them? if he can be more corrupted? Yes. Illidan is already pretty bad
If so, what do you feel is a plausible timeframe for its effects to be noticeable? a bit to drown out the skull of Gul'dan i think! About a month?
Is it allowed to read their minds/use telepathy and to what extent? go for it! Illidan is not stupid but he's way too brash
Curse them? sure
Would the Ring&any related parties be invisible to them? he can see magic so no?
Anything else I should know: crazed half-demon sorcerer over here could make for some great plots!!

Character Name: Miles Edgeworth
Would the Ring have power over them? Oh, I imagine it might to some degree. He's very strong-willed, but the right words can slip him down the wrong paths sometimes...
Is it allowed to manipulate/corrupt them? Case-by-case basis of discussion if you please.
If so, what do you feel is a plausible timeframe for its effects to be noticeable? A good few months.
Is it allowed to read their minds/use telepathy and to what extent? Yes, but it may be flooded by everything ever that he's remembered.
Curse them? Yes.
Would the Ring&any related parties be invisible to them? If they try to go around being invisible, then yes.
Anything else I should know: If it relies on physical contact, he may end up Ruffling it.

Character Name: Jack Bauer
Would the Ring have power over them? Yyyep.
Is it allowed to manipulate/corrupt them? Yes, pending discussion beforehand.
If so, what do you feel is a plausible timeframe for its effects to be noticeable? Jack has quite a few things in common with Boromir, so let's say the same time it took to break him.
Is it allowed to read their minds/use telepathy and to what extent? Everything related to Jack's personality and past is open; secrets involving other characters like locked conversations, not so much.
Curse them? Yes, pending discussion beforehand.
Would the Ring&any related parties be invisible to them? Yes
Anything else I should know: Jack's form of corruption would be under the 'use this power to do good and save people and destroy evil' variety. His willpower is absolutely epic, so the Ring will have much better luck as long as Jack doesn't know what's happening to him.
