Becky's back has a grey aura!
Today we learnt 3 things.
1- Bex's lower back has a grey aura.
2- If you bury Bex in sand she gets grumpy 'cos sand gets in her pants! (why her pants are so loose i'm not sure and couldn't ask without getting 'the look'!)

Aeotearoa to smog!
We've had Thursday the 31st of May twice, almost in its entirety. At one point we were having lunch in LA having had lunch in Auckland at exactly the same time on the same day... weird!

Mouses should live in houses... NOT BLOODY CAMPAVANS!
In the last 48 hours... we got trapped in the van with a plague of mosquitoes, got another mouse (Eric the 2nd) in the van who tried to keep us up all night with his newspaper chewing and rustling and genearally depriving us of any sleep! Who would have thought walking along a coast track for 2 days could make us so tired... beautiful blue skys and glimpse of pure green/blue seas... its a tough job but someone has to do it ya know ( Read more... ) -

so we did.
Last night we got back to TeAnau from or 3 day, 33km adventure on the Routeburn Track. Having left the shelter near Glenorchy on Sunday morning we spent our time walking up and down lots of hills/mountains carrying everthing we needed to eat sleep walk and mend ( Read more... ) -

We're off... tomorrow at 7.30 we get on a bus and head up to the start of the Routeburn track, hopefully all going well, we'll be back in Te Anau tuesday 5pm ( Read more... ) -
