Your Opinions on..
Sex before marriage: It's really the best way to do things. Why do some people associate pre-marital sex with irresponsible sex? How else are you going to know that the sex between you and your partner will be good or even bearable? I say if you feel you're both ready and consenting, go for it.
Abortion: Pro-Choice. Although partial-birth abortions scare me. I feel that choice is a freedom no one should be able to take away. Why I don't understand are the pro-lifers who support war, blow up planned parenthood clinics, and ignore the fact that our death penalty system is killing innocent people. Abortion is not a form of birth control, and I think it should be used only in extreme circumstances. I feel sorry for any woman who would have to go through something like that, but even worse if that woman didn't even have a choice.
Vegan/ Vegetarianism: I don't eat a lot of meat and even tried being a vegetarian for awhile...I support anyone who chooses not to eat meat (just like I support my crazy relative who chooses that stupid Atkins thingy) but hamburgers taste good. I try to eat healthy and balance it out. Side note: almost all of my ex's have been vegetarians.
Racism/ Sexism: *heavy sigh* It's gross, and I hope fervantly that Dr. King's "Someday" is closer than it would seem. Look with your eyes. That's an expression I'm fond of, because to me it means seeing what is there in front of you before making any judgements, look at a person's actions before you decide that you like or dislike him/her. Don't be influenced by what your parents or peers tell you. That goes for everything and everyone. Tis a grand expression to remember.
I beleive in equal rights. FULLY equal. Meaning Women in the military should be required to meet the same standards as the men. They should be paid as much for doing the same work, and they should be paid more for doing better work;) I don't think it's fair that child custody laws favor the mother in most cases, even if there is a stable father, and I think it's unfair to give women less of an opportunity to succeed than a man. Each sex has its strengths and weaknesses. I don't envy the monthly chick time tho, hehe.
Sterotypes: You mean not everyone in Alabama is a hillbilly? Nah, same as above. Beleive it or not, there are some good sterotypes. I'm not a fan of hyper-sensitivity. When Eddie Murphey did his "white person" voice I laughed my ass off. I've no love for sterotypes when they're used negatively and in a non-joking manner. I try to catch myself from using too many. I get that from my brother. (He's a stand-up comic)
