[Holiday?]

Hmm... it's a day to get together and celebrate. It's supposed to be religious, I think, but a lot of people just use it as an excuse to be with the people they care about and give presents.

[...Ping! She draws another question.

"Religious?"]

[He laughs under his breath, amused.]

Wondering about all the new decor, huh?

Christmas. Originated as a pagan holiday, and was adopted by the Christians to worship the birth of their savior.

[She smile.]

Christmas, a holiday normally celebrated near the end of the year.

...?

[But why is it celebrating?]

It's a celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ, the son of God who spread His teachings and form the religion, Christianity thousands of years ago. His followers celebrate Christmas because it's his birthday.

These days, the holiday's more...commercialised and can be just for spending time with your loved ones.

[Hello, my name is Amane and I give exposition.]

Asking around and books help. ...Or drawing skills, they can definitely help you too.

They are all being used as decorations for a human holiday known as 'Christmas'.

To those of Christian beliefs, Christmas celebrates the day that their savior, the son of their God, was born. Over the years it has become a day of festivities and gift-giving, and was adopted by those who may or may not believe in that same god.

[Because getting presents is that awesome, apparently.]
