So I was tired last night, really tired when I went to bed and mondo head thoughts and it was windy out and I'd been reading this book/pamphlet thing about Satan being real, and demons always after us and spiritual warfare and after I turned out my lights the moving curtain and some flashing light and the wind and my exhaustion had me perceiving

The booklet thing is just strange. D and D is a game.

The booklet played with my head because i was so tired and had just seen those trailers. I expected to laugh and scoff, but I was too tired and my mind played with me instead.

I mean, Satan sent demons to scare me.

The booklet sent demons to haunt your dreams and you failed your saving throw.

I just remember two of the other demonic entries: yoga, and buddhism!

Man, if a demon got you while you were all tied up in a yoga pose, you'd be helpless.

The reason I find it interesting is it is a different translation of mental illness, I think. In Biblical times, a lot of mental illness was considered demonic possession. I find it interesting because if you suffer from a mental illness, naming the pathology as a demon probably seems appropriate.
