九 · death in any circumstance

[private to self || unhackable]

I have witnessed the impermanence of death in this place. Those stricken with death in the previous curse return to life the following day, senses and faculties intact, unhampered and restored to their previous state . . . with a few important exceptions. I have been informed by the City’s guide that this return from death is not without a price; those returning from death become the walking dead, heartbeat and vital functions absent . . . and, most importantly, unable to return from whence they came.

This is something to take into consideration within this City. Mortality is both less and more important, particularly to those who bear a mission . . . as I do.

I, however, cannot help but laugh at how this bodes ill for those who wish to commit seppuku. Foolishness in any world.

This is obviously a time and place where deaths and disappearances are taken with serious consideration. Perhaps this is a world that has been, by some margin, weaned from the sword and weaponry-or, perhaps, a time and place where life is held in higher value . . . or perhaps even both.

Heh.

but if someone will die it will be you, never choose death, bakufu diaf, one track mind, two sides to a coin, all ur data are mine, bushido can stfu and gtfo
