My dreams are most often like that.

Some of the most powerful images I've ever seen have come from my dreams. I'm not sure what that means.

Lucid is the word you're looking for. You have lucid dreams. :P

They usually occur when you're near waking up. This is because your are becoming more awake and more in control of your thoughts. Usually when people reach that point, they realize it's a dream and then wake up. Sometimes you might not realize it's a dream for a while, and other times you might realize it but are enjoying it too much to want to fully wake up.

It's kind of like daydreaming except you have no outside distractions, so the dreams are very vivid and clear.

Yeah. I used to have lucid dreams.

I mean, your normal type of lucid dreams. These feel different from what they used too, somewhat. When I sleep twelve hours, and the dreams start shortly after I fall asleep, it falls out of the usual range of occurance. And I often don't realize it's a dream, or do... Then forget quickly.

Eh, not worth dying over. Just kinda a confusing thing, really. Makes for some awesome creativity though, the ideas and storylines spawned are insane. :x
