Saturday night ranks right up there as one of the Best Nights Ever. I have never snogged that much- Saturday in general was pretty brill, as Hufflepuff was BRILLIANT against Ravenclaw and Abby is INSANE if she thinks she's not cut out for post-Hogwarts Quidditch. Hell, even if I had a sliver of her talent, even I could do something. And that's saying a lot, because I am utter shite at anything even remotely athletic.

I'm still on the fence if I want to go to any of those ball things next month. Yeah, it'll be lots of important people, good for making connections in case I do wind up working there somewhere (which is looking likely, since I'm not going to get a Potions mark high enough to get to St. Mungo's), yada yada yada. But it's just so formal. Whatever the case is, if Abby doesn't want to go, then neither do I. I'm going to be taking full advantage of the fact that we are NOT at school. And what's the bloody point of spending Christmas Eve and New Year's somewhere where your girlfriend is not?

Holy hell, I'm also getting to go see what my future flat is like over the hols. Well obviously I've been there before, but only as a guest. This is going to make me see things in a bit of a different light. If I do end up saying yes to it (and I think I might have to be insane for refuse a flat in London), then I will basically be indebted to my brother for the rest of my natural life. And I think I'm okay with that.

I would like to remind everyone that if they really have nothing better to do with their time, that there is always time for revision. There really is no need to hex your fellow students in the hallways. Not to mention that it is very against the rules.

Also, I would be very grateful if anyone has seen my toad and would return him to me. Despite my numerous measures to keep him in my room (or, at the very least, the Gryffindor common room), he has escaped again.

One month until Christmas. Yikes.
